Air Rescue & County Fire rescue a 12 y.o. girl in Forest Falls

On Friday, September 26th, Brenda Rodriguez was hiking with family in Forest Falls. Rodriguez was climbing a waterfall when a family member fell. Rodriguez attempted to help her family member and also fell to the rocks below.

San Bernardino County Fire Department personnel and Sheriff’s Air Rescue 06 responded. Medical personnel hiked to Rodriguez and found she was suffering from injuries caused during the fall. They requested a hoist rescue of Rodriguez due to her injuries.

Air Rescue 06 arrived and performed a hoist rescue. Sheriff’s Air Medics were hoisted down to Rodriguez and she was placed into a litter and hoisted into the helicopter. She was flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
