Murder Investigation Update From Corona PD

On August 24, 2015, at about 2:04 p.m., Corona Police Officers responded to the 1000 block of Flaming Gorge Road reference a physical altercation involving three male adults.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a male unconscious and not breathing. The male, later identified as Daniel Guerrero, a 48-year-old Corona resident was transported to Corona Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. Detectives arrested two of the victim’s relatives, Johnny White Cepeda, a 41-year-old Corona resident and his 20-year-old son, Johnny Michael Guerrero, for murder. Both men were transported to the Robert Presley Detention Center where they are being held on a $1 million bail.
