{"id":1121,"date":"2015-11-09T08:39:12","date_gmt":"2015-11-09T16:39:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.inlandempirepress.com\/?p=1121"},"modified":"2015-11-09T08:39:12","modified_gmt":"2015-11-09T16:39:12","slug":"deputy-involved-shooting-in-victorville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inlandempirepress.com\/index.php\/2015\/11\/09\/deputy-involved-shooting-in-victorville\/","title":{"rendered":"Deputy Involved Shooting In Victorville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_600824521\"><span class=\"aQJ\">November 9, 2015<\/span><\/span>, at approximately <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_600824522\"><span class=\"aQJ\">12:05 a.m.<\/span><\/span>, Sheriff&#8217;s deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to the Travel Inn &amp; Suites located on Seventh Street in the City of Victorville for the report of a shooting at an inhabited dwelling. Employees of the business reported a hispanic male adult in a hooded sweatshirt and grey beanie shot at the business and was attempting to enter the business to rob him. Deputies contacted a subject matching the suspect&#8217;s description near the intersection of Lacy Street and Culley Street, not far from the Travel Inn. The suspect refused to comply with multiple commands given by deputies and a deputy involved shooting occurred. The suspect was taken into custody and air lifted to a local area hospital for treatment of his injuires, which are not life threatening.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives from the Sheriff&#8217;s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail responded to the locatoin and are currently conducting the investigation.
