As the officers arrived they located a female adult that was suffering from what is believed to be multiple stab wounds. Members of the Riverside Fire Department, along with Emergency Medical T<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">echnicians, gave immediate medical attention to the victim as she was being transported to the Riverside Community Hospital. At approximately 3:08 a.m., the Riverside Police Department was notified by the hospital that the victim had succumbed to her injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives from the Robbery \u2013 Homicide Unit along with Evidence Technicians from the Forensic Unit responded to investigate. Detectives are being assisted by the Riverside County District Attorney\u2019s Office and the Sheriff \u2013 Coroner. The victim\u2019s identity is pending a Coroner\u2019s investigation, along with notifications to family members.
