\nINCIDENT: Murder\/Attempt Murder\/Robbery Investigation
\nLOCATION: 21000 block of Nisqually Road, Apple Valley<\/p>\n
VICTIM #1: Julian Kilgore (deceased), age 23, of Apple Valley
\nVICTIM #2: Richard Fenton, age 21, of Apple Valley<\/p>\n
SUSPECT #1: Areon Shoulders, age 25, of Victorville
\nSUSPECT #2: Rayvon Tarpley, age 25 (deceased), of Victorville
\nSUSPECT #3: Richard Nedd, age 21, of Victorville<\/p>\n
SUMMARY:
\nOn Thursday, August 6, 2015, at approximately 9:25 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Sheriff\u2019s Station were called to the 21000 block of Nisqually Road in Apple Valley reference a shooting. Deputies arrived and found Julian Kilgore and Richard Fenton suffering from gunshot wounds. Kilgore was transported to a local area hospital, but despite lifesaving efforts, Kilgore was pronounced deceased at 10:35 p.m. Fenton was transported to a different hospital where he was treated and survived.<\/p>\n
Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff\u2019s Department, Specialized Investigations Division-Homicide Detail were summoned to conduct the investigation. Early in the investigation, detectives revealed the shooting occurred during a robbery. Aerion Shoulders, a 25 year old resident of Victorville, was identified as one of the suspects. Shoulders was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.<\/p>\n
As detectives continued to follow leads, the investigation revealed Rayvon Tarply and Richard Need were additional suspects directly involved in the crimes. Tarply has since died in an unrelated incident, however, additional information continues to surface confirming Tarply was directly involved. Nedd was contacted and arrested for murder on September 30, 2015.<\/p>\n
