PEDESTRIAN CHECK LEADS TO ARREST FOR IDENTITY THIEF

Yesterday morning, July 20, 2016 at about 8:45 a.m., officers contacted an individual in the parking lot of a local motel located at the 3600 Block of La Sierra Avenue. It was learned that the individual was on probation and in possession of a car not registered in her name. The officers searched the individual’s motel room, which they found items related to identity theft, a credit card reader, and drug paraphernalia. The individual was identified as Angelica Chagolla, 38-year-old of Corona, she was arrested and booked into jail.
